Anna McBride
Chartered Physiotherapist, MCSP, HPC Registered.
I trained to be a Chartered Physiotherapist at Glasgow Caledonian University and graduated with a BSC Hons degree in 2003.
Background and experience
My first qualified role was with the NHS at Royal Lancaster Infirmary as a basic grade Physiotherapist, I spent a couple of years rotating through a variety of clinical setting such as Medicine, Surgery, ICU, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Out Patients.
I soon realised my true interest and where I excelled was within the orthopaedics and musculoskeletal field. I specialised and became a Senior Physiotherapist across Royal Lancaster Infirmary and Queen Victoria Centre. Since specialising in 2006 there aren't many conditions, I haven't seen and treated.
I started working privately in 2012 in a busy clinic in Lancaster and enjoy the freedom and flexibility working privately gives to both myself and my clients. I really enjoying seeing my clients get back to enjoying the things they love to do.
I am fully trained in Acupuncture, Pilates and have a keen interest in biomechanics. I use this alongside hands on therapy as well as providing education, advice and exercise to prevent further injuries and help rehabilitation.

Personal Interests
Outside of work I enjoy spending time outdoors, going to the theatre and foreign travel.
