Visual Materials Release

Lifecycle frequently videotapes/photographs client posture and mechanics during appointments, and such materials may be used as bike fitting, stretching, strengthening and efficiency-related lecture materials. Please advise Lifecycle if you have any objections to the use of your specific visual materials in this fashion. In the event of any client objections, Lifecycle will immediately erase such material once the session is completed.

Bike Fit

Bicycle Adjustments

Bicycle hardware (e.g., brakes, wheels, drive train, fastening devices for seat post/handlebar stem) may be loosened and then retightened as part of bike fit services. The client should recheck any/all such adjustments to ensure revised bicycle position is secured and safe.

Break-In Period

The break-in period for bicycle adjustments is approximately 10 hours in duration. During this period it is wise to initially ride the adjusted bicycle conservatively, adjusting riding volume, duration and intensity to below normal levels and gradually building back over the 10 hours. It is normal to experience differing sensations during break-in, especially muscular ones, but not pain. If you experiences pain or have question or concerns, please contact Lifecycle via email for advice.

What To Bring:

Your Bicycle

Please ensure your bike is clean (particularly the tyres) as the appointment will take place in a clinical environment. Please also ensure your bike is in good working order.

Riding Apparel

Cycling shoes, cycling shorts, and top.

Please ensure your shoes are clean and the cleats are not excessively worn. It may be important to adjust the position of the cleats and this can be difficult if the attachment screws are worn, damaged or very clogged with grit.
